Valve lash only during Mivec?

I went from 5w30 coventional to 10w40 in winter and then to 5w30 synthetic and right after that oil change and ever since I will hear a hissing/tapping/buzzing noise (yes thats the best description for it) when Mivec kicks in, whats the deal, its hard to pick up the noise with the cai and exausht, I can only hear at idle but its definitely clear its only during mivec.

The dealer here in québec says that the ralliart doesn't need to have it's valve lash adjusted.... I'm at 53 000 km... What am I suppose to do?

It's supposed to be checked every 30k, but it usually doesn't need adjustment that often. The dealer's wrong. The service is listed in the maintenance manual.

Just a word of advice, people have good and bad luck with their adjustments... It helps to have someone who's done it before around because like some other members, ahem... no names will be stated... their valve lash adjustments went reallly bad...
