crooked evo steering wheel?

ok, so i've had the evo 8 steering wheel on my RA for a few months now, but ever since i installed it, ive noticed that it is a little off. going absolutely straight would show the evo wheel slightly off, and i don't understand why. the stock one was straight when i was going straight. and i honestly don't think it has to do with putting it on straight because it can't really lock into place wherever you want it to, there are like small sections where it locks. Im guessing i need to adjust something within the wheel if thats possible, does anyone have any ideas what I can do? thanks!

Either your alignment is off or you were one spline off when installing it.

That happened to me too, I took it to the shop and they alligned the car perfectly straight remove the wheel and then installed perfectly. Didn't have any other problems after that. Car runs smooth at high speeds now. Be careful with the airbag plug not to ignite it.
