Well, had my car in for the 24'000km service yesterday and got the guys to take a look at the front end and the knocking, banging.

The mechanic is suggesting to change the upper strut mount bearings on both sides as he deems them 'going bad'.
Covered under warranty.

Must be the ****ty Edmonton roads.

 

same thing happened to me around 20k but only driver side bearings. Mitsu must just have cheap bearings. No problems since then approaching 50k now.

 

Yea the lady said they've been replacing a lot of them lately. They didnt even have any on stock and had to order them in.
