does anyone have a diagram of the front suspension? when my car is jacked up i can wiggle the wheel a little bit and i see where the problem is but i dont know what the part is called. its the little piece right next to the rotor that has a nut on the top. i just need to know what its called. thanks

 

You must be talking about the TieRod end, right? It has a threaded shaft going into it right? Most of the time if you can wiggle it, 9 times out of ten it is the actual tie rod. Which threads into your steering rack. If you have any questions give me a buzz.

 

correct that would be the tierod connecting to the spindal

 

on the topic of tie rods, does any one know where I can find inner tie rod replacements for the RA online? I've checked some places but they say it's for the 2.0L Lancers.

well i just got back and the dealer is going to fix it under warrenty. i didnt think they would cause of my suspension.

 

lucky... my warranty just ran out when i discovered the problems with my car

 

well i have 10 year 100,000 mile warranty but i thought cause of me lowering it they wouldnt fix it. but they said we'll do it this time. hopefully there isnt a next time.

 

Yea I'm due for a new tie rod on the passenger side... Then an alignment... Fun stuff.
