Hi guys, first of all I did search about this and found nothing and apparently my service manual was misplaced when I was moving so...

I need to know the normal oil pressure of our car. I am about to buy an oil pressure gauge and I wanted to know what's normal, what's high and what's low so I can know what's happening in the car. Thanxs a lot.

 

Normal pressure at idle, on a hot engine, is around ~5 psi and won't usually go above 80 psi at full rev. On an engine that isn't up to temp, the pressure will read higher. In the winter, when I first start the car, it can be as high as 75psi at idle.
