Ski Racks

Ok I did a search and all I came up with was 2 threads and they were both from 2005 so I dont know if anyone else has played around with these since then. BUt I am planning on taking the Ralliart to New York a few times and I ski my local place 4 days a week almost so it might make my life easier.

First off I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of RA's with ski racks (ie. Yakima) because I think it would look good if you got that fairing up there to look good.

Next I was wondering if this Yakima app. from 2005 was still current (Q83, Q107, Q-Towers, and 48in bars), maybe someone has tried something else that works and is cheaper?

And last can anyone help me with a general question, are Yakima racks universal? We took one off of a Saab here at the dealership and I was wondering if it might save me some money.

Thanks!

Yakima racks are mostly universal. You'll be able to reuse the bars and the towers, but you'll need new "Q-clips" I think they're called. They're specific to an application.

That would be sexual if it had the fairing. Now I want to put one on the car even more. Is this car sitting on Tein's?

Sorry neither of these is exactly what you're asking for, but here are two pics of my RA with my Yakima rack on it. Set up to carry bikes, not skis.

Thats still sexy but the ski clamps just look good lol. Yakima have ones that are urban camo or somthing like that... might have to give em a shot.
