Re: what mods to do?

My RA is a five speed with 62k on it, there was no way i was gonna go auto. i'm looking at prob goin all around, i know i wanna change the exhaust on it and wanna either get a new front bumber or body-kit cuz i have front bumber damage. it looks like somone tried to throw a baseball threw it. also wanna put the evo 8 wing on and replace the stock one. im happy with the wheels for now, what do you think. thanks for the site to look out that will help out alot, any other sites you guys recommend?

depends on what you want man. We can't tell you to get an Evo 8 spoiler if you want performance.

Find what you seek : performance, handling or visuals. Then ask us our opinions.

I would repair your front bumper first and then go performance/handling. The RA stock is a very good looking car, but that's my opinion.

As I said, we're not building your RA. If you want looks, get a body kit with the Evo 8 spoiler, but if you want more power, change your exhaust line and throw in a CAI.

I agree with Neo in that you should probably fix your bumper first and then worry about the performance

I'd say go with a CAI and an RRM UDP first cause those are pretty cheap price-wise while still getting a good amount of power.

yup. UDP is one of my next mod...

but if you don't care about performances, go for a body kit and a spoiler.

well if you plan on going for a bodykit then getting the lip would be kind of pointless since you'd end up replacing it anyway unless you plan on getting a new stock bumper and staying with it..depends on how bad the damage is to the bumper

i have to replace my front bumper too, but so far ive just been spending my money on performance lol. i figure may as well dump my money into where it REALLY counts befor cosmetics. so far i put in a CAI, Magnaflow axel back, and the RRM UDP. next mods for me are looking to be headers, and piggy back. although i did put on an evo 8 wing but thats only cuz i got it for 50 bucks and it was already the same color as my car lol

as I said, to each their own

some people prefers performances over looks while others don't. I'm personnaly mostly an handling type of guy. I think the RA has great performances for my daily use, but I would like some more handling

just my 2c

I'm looking into headers and a piggyback myself but im planning on buying the turbokit from RRM so im thinking of just saving for the kit because its just going to replace the parts i already bought... what other parts would be pointless to buy because of what the kit comes with?

pretty much would replace the headers, intake, piggy back,. if your going to get the turbo kit then the mods you can use now and when you have the turbo are UDP, port and polished intake mani, port and polish head, and the new cams i believe.

sounds good then... does it replace the downpipe as well? and does the turbo manifold replace anything or it just another add on?

to scary19: if you really want to put in the money then the turbokit would be something you'd definately want to look into for a future mod
