Suspension Question

So, I've got 34'000 on my 06 now, and the rear suspension is starting to make some noise.
Im sure that everyone who drives a ralliart will know what i mean as i assume we both share the same quirks in time lol.
What im looking for is the part that wears out so that next time im at the dealership I can tell em to take a look at that part.
It's just basically, when it was new and you'd hit a bump you would only here the thump, but now its making some higher clacking, clicking.. i donno.. sounds like a bushing wearing out I guess.

There is a TSB on our rear trailing arm bushings that make a squeaking noise. They seem to have a pattern failure with those rear bushings. I would have them start there.

But it could just as easily be a worn strut.

Had my first strut replaced under warranty at 10k. Stock struts suck. 3 out of 4 were done by 40k. Finally said screw it and got KYBs when I put on drop springs.

Not at that mileage, struts are a wear item.

If it's the control arm, they yeah, that'd be covered.

i suppose it could be a strut.. hmm.. does it on both sides. hoping its a linkage or bushing of some sort though hah.

It sounds like a knock when driving over crappy roads.

I had a blown rear damper on a mazda i once owned.
The sound was a rattling clunking sound. You didn't even need
to be travelling over bad roads to hear it.
It seems to be down to luck when it comes to oe dampers.
I am planning to install Progress springs on my Lancer.
I suppose I should expect a shortened service life on my dampers.
Does anyone know if Koni will ever produce dampers for our cars.
The market is certainly there.

Trying to write poetry?

I wouldn't expect any more struts to be released for our car from any companies that don't already have them out. So, we're limited to OEM, KYB, and Monroe.
