06 headlight problem
06 headlight problem
i have a problem with my head lights on my 06. when i have them on low beam, the right side is dim and the left side is bright. when i put them on high beam the right side is bright and the left side is dim. i tried new headlights and its the same problem. any suggestions???
I know this is an old thread but instead of creating another one Ill just post here. Im having a similiar issue, except that my passenger side headlight is dim on both high and low beam after replacing them.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

+1 my passengers side is outputting less light than my drivers side. I thought it was my after market ballast but switched the around and still the same problem. Oops, this is for an Evo though.
Idk if this will help, but when I was working with my HID's I found that the stock plugs on the harnesses were not making a very good connection (where the housings plug into the harness), when I would hit bumps my light would go out altogether on the drivers side, if you have the headlights on try to fumble around with the plugs and push them together real hard and see if it brightens up, if so try to replace them with some kind of aftermarket plug.
ive found on my 2006 ralliart, ive had to tighten the connection of the plugs almost every other day. sometimes one light would emit low light, sometimes both headlights.
maybe the harnesses in our 06s are just a tad off lol

My 04 is the same way as the 06's, I cut the wire for the lows and put a new plug on for my drivers side and it works great, I want to do the same with the passenger side because it looks dimmer, even though it has a whole new harness because my old one disintegrated when I hit a deer. I think that those plugs were poorly designed.

check your fuses. my friend's prelude had a similar problem and he thought the wiring was all messed and was going to pay the dealership $500 to fix it. I took a look at the fuses and save him $490
