Still debatingm, 2005 Ralliart or 2008 GTS.

The problem with me getting a GTS it is very hard to find parts for it considering its a 2008. The ralliart has parts everywhere online, and is not much of an hassle. Only reason id get the GTS is because it looks meaner and hopefully in the new future manufacturers make more parts for them. Which one do you think i should get? The Ralliart has alittle bit more potential than the GTS though. The price of the GTS is 18000 (loaded with tech), and the ralliart is used and only costs 6k and is sitting at 87.7k miles.

i honestly prefer the 05 ralliart, but my opinion is just biased. also try to find a RA with less mileage on it becuz 87k is a lot. also, there really isnt that much aftermarket support for the RA. just get an 05 subaru wrx...

Honestly though.... you're best bet would be I'd have to say the GTS. I have an 05 RA and not going to lie I'm in love with the car with in its current state and I don't have many mods on it. The problem with it lays in that there isn't that much aftermarket... the main one would probably have to be RRM and they're a good company hands down but thats really about it except for a few things here and there. The GTS on the other hand is still farily new and theres going to be a better aftermarket for it I think in time.

But with the options that he's given I'd say the GTS is the better choice. If he wants an RA then he should look for one with less miles cause yes as previously stated, 87.7k miles is alot on a RA and he'd probably be looking at doing more maintenance work since it would probably give out quicker then a new GTS.

definitly go with the 08 GTS the 05 Ralliart has no aftermarket support. And since the 08 GTS comes with the 4B11 i guarantee you that there will be alot more aftermarket support for it in the near future. I currently drive the 06 RA and i am ready to get rid of the car. i want something faster and with more aftermarket support

buy my RA and I'll include the aftermarket parts so you dont' have to hunt them down!

haha, tis true the RA doesn't have much aftermarket, the gts however does have a pretty good following for only being a couple years old. Personally if I had a choice now I'd still go with the RA because I feel like its a smaller more agile car for my driving style, but with the right mods I bet you could make the gts do the same.

Remember even though parts are rare and hard to find, if you can afford it, anything can be had at the right cost... even if it means selling your liver.

I'd go with the GTS, our RA are already looking old and kinda late 90' car, the current lancer model will only be refreshed in 4 years so its gonna look newer for a longer time.

plus you will have a lot more aftermarket or simply finding replacement parts will be easier...and you can put the EVO hood on yours, try to do that with a RA!
