Well its about time to say farewell...

Looks like im going to trade my little ralliart in soon. Not 100% sure as of yet but if everything does go well ill be getting a new Mazda Speed 3. I know, not a sweet mitsubishi, but lets face it, evos are TOO expensive, and the speed 3 i was lookin at(a new 08 model the dealer still has) is only 20g. And its stock turbo with more aftermarket support than the ralliart it seems. But if anyone else has any car suggestions for that price range and performance please shoot!

I would check out the new Cobalt SS Turbos. They are much faster than the old supercharged one and have the fasted lap time for a stock fwd car at the Nuremburg Ring in Germany. I do love the look of the Mazdaspeed 3's though.

mazda speed three is best bang for your buck... your not going there.

if its aftermarket your looking for, go w/ the civic si. I bet later down the road you'll find harder-to-find parts for the civic way easier than for the mazda. plus building 600whp is easier/more popular with civics. all cuz of the aftermarket.

but best bang for buck. you cant beat the mazda speed 3. good job.

just looks ugly as sin lol.

for some reason i could never see myself in a honda lol. i know theres a TON of after market stuff for the honda but idk i just cant picture it. Im not looking for extreme hp, just something to keep up with some of the cars around here. im not too fancy on the hatchback but its cheap, turbo, and well its growing on me haha.

just get a SRT-4 and you'll beat everyone around you without ever modding it at all!!
I saw one at the dealership, and they couldnt fit all the zero's from the hp on the sticker, so they just ended up putting an infinity symbol for the hp.

+1 for the SRT-4...I think it's better than the speed3...speed3 look too much like an ordinary mazda 3. The SRT-4 with the body parts looks more agressive!!!

Either the MS3, because it's a pretty nice all-around car, or as someone mentioned, the new turbo Colbalts. The MS3 should have a decent aftermarket, but you can count on the Cobalt having a stronger one in the next couple years.

Actually, GM already working on some stage kit for the turbo Cobalt... putting the power near the 300 hp mark.... The LNF (2.0 litter ecotec) is a very nice motor
GM Deal

The best bang for your buck car at the moment is the Cobalt SS. It posts similar times (within 0.5 of a second) to the EVO X. An MS3 is a nice car too.

While I haven't seen the new Cobalt in person, I'm guessing that you should go with the Cobalt if you want to mod and want a quick FWD car, go with the MS3 if you care more about a nice interior and generally a nice car.

I agree with that, the MS3 is a way nicer overall car. The Cobalt is fast as ***** but it's certainly a spartan vehicle.
