Well its about time to say farewell...
ok well it seems im too upsidown to get a cobalt ss or speed 3. they want 6grand down and im not able to pull that off. if i had 6g to put down id have turbod this car haha. anyway i can probably find another car with enough rebates to help with the upsidown portion of my dilema(as the speed 3 and SS do not have any rebates.) im looking for another more mod friendly car. i love the ralliart but its parts are hard to come by and pretty pricy. can anyone reccomend something more mod friendly?(i know the civics are very mod friendly but that will be my LAST choice.). was hoping theres a car with a small turbo on it already but cant seem to think of any.
I know how you feel bro with being upside and ready to trade out. Im looking into trading up to the new ralliart you might consider that. 2k rebate and plus you already have a mitsu so thats royalties on top of that so its a little easier on the pocket, plus it has turbo and all wheel control or what ever they call it.
bro wait till the Hyundai Genesis coupe comes out. It has the 4B11t and Rhys Millen and HKS already have stuff for it plus AEM is working on the ECU. and i believe that its gonna be in the low 20K market. cause im in the same boat as u i love my car but there is nothing out there for the 4G69 and instead of paying $4500 for the turbo kit from RRM u can find a 4G63 for that price or even cheaper. If i were to keep my car and continue modding it i would have to swap the 4G63 and scrap the 4G69. but seriously wait till the Hyundai Genesis coupe comes out
yeah at this point im too upsidown. as it is the new ralliart is still too expensive for me. oh wells. heck if i can save up the cash for a turbo kit i may end up buying a sr20det 240sx for the price haha
I went out and started to look for other alternatives and recently remembered the gvr4 I had back in the day. I found out my buddy still had his, now I'm working on that right now. They can be had for cheap and are really mod friendly. Plus they're rare, fast, awd and turbo'ed; everything I was looking for. I can still keep the lancer as a daily, and drive the gvr4 in the winter or when I want to have some fun. Also its nice because I can keep the lancer as a daily.
Just my 2-cents...
