What grade of fuel?

It just dawned on me, this car has the variable valve timing and I know Mazda cars with VVT (or whatever it's called) require PLUS or better octane fuel, but I don't see anything on my RalliArt that says anything about it.

Is the RA ok on 87? or am I missing an important sticker that says to to run higher octane fuel? just being safe.

Use what the owner's manual calls for, 87, anything more is throwing your money away.

Thanks.

According to the manual, use the least expensive puddle water. It actually does run well on lowest octane fuel without knocking.

It has been excellently documented in Maxima.org forums that consistently using the highest octane fuel will keep the oxygen sensors and internal engine bits much cleaner over the course of 100,000 km.

So, it's your call.
