can anyone tell me whats wrong with my car??

the shifter doesnt feel as usual...a bit more resistant to get in gear but what botehrs me most is how it slips out of gears 1,2,3

what needs to be replaced???

as well im able to pop the shifter out from first and second gear without pressing the clutch..its been doing that for a while now..

please any feedback?

 

could it be the cold outside ?

Thinking about it, my first gear sounds about the same. But only if it's cold outside and the car is still cold.

Note that I've serviced my 48 000kms few weeks ago and nothing was wrong with my transmission. I trust the dealer, at least this one ...

edit : didn't see your second post. Mine doesn't do that. I have to use the clutch to take the gear out. But sometimes, my first gear just pops out very fast when I clutch and begin to gear it out. It also makes a small noise ("clak")

 

^ yeh, i second that. sometimes though it feels like its in 1st, but then when you engage the clutch it'll pop out and cause I got my hand on the shifter it'll grind. Annoying as hell. Used to do it a lot when it was new, now.. rarely.

 

it rarely occurs.. very rarely.
and you can pop the shifter out on any gear without the clutch as long as the gear are not loaded.
It does refuse to go in about once every 2 months. from a stop i push it in to first, but it doesn't actually click in and then i let out the clutch and then engine just revs, and then I go WTF and then push the clutch back down and then then push the shifter and it'll grind.
if you are WOT with the rpms still climbing at the moment and can pull it out of gear, it's most likely your synchros or dog collar.
