My New ralliart!

I'm so stoked, there's a 2004 ralliart thats being sold near me, and i'm going down to buy it tommorrow! here's a few pics of her:

For the last two years I've been driving around in a Nissan Sentra, '96, so this is a considerable step up! I can't wait, and its my favorite color too, yellow! Just in time for the summer! The price is pretty good too only 7,000!

I dont' wanna sound like a prissy girly girl, but I'm still new to this whole car thing. What makes the ralliart different from an evo, or just a regular lancer? I know its kind of the middle ground between the two, but whats really the difference? I don't hear anyone ever talk about the ralliart or oz rally, just the evolution

Nice, manual or automatic? Great price, I paid $8,000 for mine.

The Ralliart has a 2.4 liter MiVEC engine, whereas the ES and OZ Lancers only have a 2.0 liter non MiVEC engine.

There are more differences but thats the major one.

sounds pretty kewl. Yea, I can't drive stick, so its auto, I don't like the idea of having to constantly shift gears. When i'm driving I just like to cruise. Anway, only about 12 hours till I pick mine up!! Totally stoked.

Consider the Ralliart the middle child. More powerful engine, better gearing, and a bit better suspension than the Lancers. The Evo is a different beast all together. The only thing the Evo has in common with the Ralliart is the underlying unibody and the interior layout. Everything else is different.

Its alright, I'm not looking to start drag racing, I just want a good looking car that doesn't resemble a steam ship. And I've always like the lancers design. Though I love the yellow, i'm going to stand out so much when driving, a prime target for cops to pull me over! Also do any of you guys know if the 2004 ralliart's radio has an auxillery port for an ipod?

There's an OEM Mitsu iPod adapter for the stock headunit, but it's very expensive. Much better use of your money to get a nice aftermarket headunit to use with your iPod.

Is it the stock Nissan head unit? Or an aftermarket one?

If its an aftermarket one then it should be fine, but I'm not so sure about other manufacturer OEM ones.

yeah, aftermarket is easy, and at most just a $5 wire harness unless you rather splice them yourself.

if its the stock nissan one.... expect more problems.
