Random question. I just installed the RRM header downpipe and is the CEL elimantor required to go on the Aft O2 sencer as in the one after the cat?

 

I didn't put the CEL eliminator in after I installed the header/downpipe and then after about 100 miles or so, the light came on. I got the eliminator installed shortly after that, cleared the code and have been light free ever since for over 2k miles now. It goes on the one after the cat.

 

ahh I c ops I put it on the one forward of the cat so the first o2 sencer.

 

Alright so an update on this. Its been like 7 months and I still haven't gotten rid of the cel. I took the advice of one of the other members here and ordered the weapon-r eliminator. Should see how it works out next week when I can get it in.

 

With the weapon R your cel will be gone for sure.

 

any turbo guys have that code?

 

I'm sure they probably do if they're running catless and haven't gotten a spacer/eliminator yet

 

Can someone post me a link to where you can buy the weapon R eliminator, I have a high flow CAT, and got the P0420 code a couple of days ago. Thanks.

 

Drautomotive is where I purchased mine. $47 shipped within the US. You may be able to look for something cheaper though.

 

I had made the mistake of putting the elim on the first sensor and i threw like 3 codes from it swaped it and never had another cel.wonder why yours came back

 

I first went through putting the elim on the first and had only one code thrown. Forgot what it was but then put elim on 2nd and got the p0420 code so I upgraded to the antifoulers but still never went away. Now I'm trying the weapon-r setup and hopefully I'll be done with this code.

 

I decided to go for the double spark plug non-fouler trick, for $5 only it's worth a try. The code hasn't come back yet, but I need to run it for longer to make sure. Good luck with the weapon R, I'd be interested to know if it works.

 

Works, I've been driving over a year with no P420

 

weapon r eliminator has been installed for 2 days now with no code so far. i have to also mention that i put on the anti-foulers that i had on it too just for kicks in hopes that it would help at all.
