Some issues.....

Guys been having this issue recently need some input. If i am driving the car under 15 miles a hour and hit a pothole or a lump in the road, the car will shut down. It blows the engine fuse under the hood. Any clue, I have the tein basic coilovers and its low but not so low i hit stuff or anything. I know blowing a fuse is a sign of a short but any idea what could be shorting? Also this just started today.

The car starts fine, but as soon as its in gear and the brake is pressed it chokes down to about 550 rpm and the engine hesitates horribly. give it gas and it sorta runs alright. when you step on it it hesitates then takes off real weak. then when you come back down it stalls and dies. starts right back up though. i am thinking because the air filter is horribly dirty thats the cause cause it sorta runs alright when i took it off to test that theory, i didn't drive it.

From your sig....looks like you have a lot of audio stuff.
1) check all your wiring, especially grounds. May be just as simple as a loose ground or exposed wire getting shorted when you hit a bump.
2) Not sure if the high-amp alternator would be a cause for concern...... might be a good idea to put a meter on it to see if there is a power spike.
3) clean your air filter?

You shouldn't have to replace your air filter, just clean it.

Not to embarrass myself but the filter is trashed Otter, got submerged, dried out, and over oiled all in a period of probally 3 days. I got it submerged in almost a flashflood, then let it dry out while trying to save it, then got over zealous with the injen oil stuff. That was a year ago and i have neglected it alot even since then. I just ordered and received the new one. Im pulling the system probally tommorrow and trying to get the sparkplugs. but since ngk wont let me order them for a 04 but only a 05.

well fellas i think i have found the problem, pulled the intake tubing off to check for a excessively dirty throttle body, found out that the maf sensor was covered in black soot, figuring the filter breaking down, well i tried to clean it just by gently wiping it off ( i know how sensitive these things are) once i did that i tried reinstalling everything and the car wouldn't run at all, threw its first code for low maf sensor input. ordered a new one received it in cleaned the throttle body, the intake piping and put the new sensor in and the car runs like a champ, no hesitation or anything.
