haha nope.

but seriously, all you gotta do is install washers between the hinges and the hood. just make sure you remove that weather stripping.

Im actually more interested in the under the hood modifications you're doing to help the intake, like the foil pan you talked about.

haha i just took one of those foil pans that you'd use to roast a turkey and stuck it between the engine, and the battery/intake. its pretty snug in there because the hood sorta locks it in

go get some header wrap, this makes huge difference for really low money (around 50$)
I did it on my Mr2 and it worked wonders

go buy this months Import tuner magazine. this month is there summer issue, and it has 2 articles on "how to beat the heat this summer" and a bunch of parts and tips to lower under hood temps. if you cant find it maybe i'll try to go to my freinds house and scan the articles and post them up, but thats illegal lol. look for the mag, you'll get ALOT of pointers. good toilet reading.

It is the augest issue. i am subscribed to them so i guess i get them a month or so early, but whenever you go to the store, see what month they have, and keep an eye out for augest issue, that is the one that has it. and THAN it says the september issue is part two. and in that issue they are comparing a bunch of radiators and testing EXACTLY how many degrees each one cools down...

so augest is the good one, and september is the radiator one. keep an eye out. worse comes to worse i'll scan and email you the stuff lol .

yea it would be helpful, but it would also be illigal. i mean there is like 10-15 pages of good stuff on it. Just go out and buy it. only 5 bucks. The augest issue has alot of info in it. and the september is the follow up one with test results of different radiators going head to head. Its Only july, so its not like you missed out. Keep an eye out for it, or maybe you can read it somewhere on import tuner's website? i dunno check it out. I'm just saying worst case scenario, the month is out of date (which its not) i will scan it and email it. not posting it online its illegal and will get my membership from here ganked lol.
