i was thinking about painting my rusting hood black on a white pearl ralliart.....what are your opinions. some cars it looks nice but i dont wanna look rice!!!

 

if it looks good to you, go for it. Dont do a rattle can job tho, have someone paint it. You could probably get materials for about $60, and that's actually doing a 2 stage pearl or something.

 

Quick question, which state are you in? I see Syracuse but there's a bunch of them.

 

i hate rust.. depending on how bad its rusting, i would order another one. haha

Personally, I have a black hood on my metallic silver, and i love it. but i also have black rims and a black trunk lip. oh, and a black vortex generator.

thats what you should get! a vortex gen! haha. that'll compliment it greatly.

if you're gonna do you're hood black, i think itll look rice at first, but you'll LOVE it. just as long as you get it done professionally.

when i got mine done, i had them color match the wheels. just a little pointer.



sorry i couldnt find any pearl lancers with the black hood. thats mine. lol

 

i actually saw yours in a different post and said to myself, that doesnt look too bad! i would really like cf but i just bought a house! i live in syracuse ny. i never realized there were that many. where syracuse university basketball is.

 

i had a black hood on my ralliart for a while. mine was pearl too. it actually looked pretty nice! i had black rims to compliment it too. as long as its not a ****ty job people wont think its ricy.
