I have the TWM short shifter and like it a lot. I do not know anything about the RRM one however.

Let us know how you like it if you get it.

Who else makes short shifters for our lancers? or are there any other shifters that fit like evo ones?

Any lancer or evo (02-06 models) will fit our car. Authority makes a short shifter that's nice for 50.

When I had my RA I went with the authority SS.

Keep in mind pretty much all 5spd evo SS's work with our cars, though I have never tried to test fit an adjustable one but I know they're all pretty much identical. I had the authority SS in my lancer swapped to my evo.. then I sold it to a buddy since I went up to a MR. Now for the MR.. there's like one SS and it needs to be professionally installed...

if your going to upgrade your shifter, another good and cheap mod to help give you quicker shifts is the RRM stainless steel clutchline. i got that in my car a long time ago, and i remember it really helping me get a more realistic feel of the clutch. buying only one and not the other will improve the feel of shifting, but doing both will give you a better feel, and you still aint spending hundreds on a clutch and flywheel.
