Pulley kits are really good mods because they free up power that your engine already has, without needing more airflow. On a stock RA you should probably see 5-10hp.

yea but if you look at the old one it has a timeing mark. you need that in case your ever going to do a timeing belt change. so that you can line up all the marks to dead top center...

So its just a matter of copying the old timing mark over to the new pulley w/ a sharpie or something?

how do you line up the stock with the rrm pulley if they are different sizes? from the pictures and the descriptions, they say the rrm pulley is smaller..

After you remove the old pulley, set it down on something and put the new pulley on top of it. Line up the little hole that's on each pulley to make room for the crankshaft position sensor. You can see this hole in the pictures above, it's right between two of the bolts and it's only a few millimeters wide. Find where it says TDC on the old pulley and make a little mark on the new one. One of the only reasons you need to mark it is for finding top dead center when setting the valve lash. If you're swapping out the timing belt you have to pull this pulley off anyways, and it's probably a good idea to make new marks on everything. It's not really a big deal if you forgot to mark the new pulley, just make sure to keep the old one around for a reference.

This was what I was told and had read with regards to the OZ. In reality, couldn't really tell the difference between the stock pulley and the RRM one. Well, I did notice that sometimes when you push the clutch in, the headlights dim, but that's about it. Oh, and at idle it revs more freely and the car doesn't slow down the same when you gear down. As for feeling a power difference, that never happened.

What mods did you have? The base lancers have no power what so ever, so I can't see the udp doing much.
