I fully understand they're different engines.. The difference must be much more dramatic for the RA than it is in the OZ with the RRM pulley. Also, the only engine mod I have (if you can call it that) is an AEM CAI.

Yeah with a CAI you wont get much. In my OZ I had a SRI, piggyback, Headers and downpipe, HF cat, Catback exhaust and still was no where close to m RA stock.

never had a CEL. only code my car ever throws is the one that says my cat isnt working right. im still looking on a fix for that....

back to the timing mark topic. so is it bad that i didnt mark my belt then? i'm not the one that does my timing belt work cause i let a mechanic do that but does it really matter?

Who ever told you that is an idiot, the only thing you will notice is at idle the lights dim and the ac wont blow as hard.

Long term durability tends to be the primary concern when it comes to pulley modifications. I want to throw my two cents in: I had Joe's pulley mod for about 30K miles and had no hiccups, except for the occasional light dimming. There are probably owners who have had it longer, so it would be good if they chimed in as well.

I think Otter has had his for over 80K. Reliability was my main concern about the pulley. Now I feel comfortable putting it on. I picked one up for Christmas. I am stoked.
