Hey there looking for a turbo kit and was wondering if a evo 8 or 9 turbo kit will fit into my ralliart? also what is the difference between single scroll and a double scroll? as well if anyone is selling there used turbo kit im very interested thanks.

to understanding the price of a turbo kit. The evo kit will not bolt up but it could be fabricated to fit notice I said fit not work an after market turbo kit for an evo would pop a stock ra like ronenbocker. If you want an easy reliable kit go with rrms kit it costs a pretty penny but you will have no worries. CHeckout the for sale forums for
used kits or used kit parts , if you don't want to keep your ra long or don't wanna spend 10 k by the time your done stay away from the turbo just my 2 cents ......try the search option for any questions you have in the future ....9 outta 10 times it has been asked and answered before....good luck and welcome

 

yea go with rrm i wouldn trust a used 1 thats just me

 

For FI you pretty much got four options. RRM, RIPP, RPW, or Custom. RRM seems to produce the most reliable turbo kit out there and is the one I went with, but like lanzerralliart said, it costs a pretty penny and may not be the best suited for everyone's needs. Ripp makes the only supercharger available for our cars but now only sell it as a tuner package meaning its incomplete. You should research some peoples opinions on it though, some are very ugly. RPW makes a good turbo kit, but they are based in australia meaning unless you live there the shipping is gonna rape you now matter how you put it. Not many people have used this kit however and it true reliability is unknown. Custom is the last and cheapest way to go, but judging by your incompetent question you have already stated (no offense ), this probably isnt the best road for you. My biggest reccomendation for you is to search because turbo might not be the best option for you to begin with.

 

ya thanks to all. I have researched it but only for rrm it only says 80 hp extra it doesnt seem so much especially what both of you guys said its alot of money. also the other ones ya i dont have interest in the australia one is out of the question for me and i would love a supercharger but im pretty sure a turbo will produce more power and the supercharger is not even complete so ill be paying more on the supercharger then the turbokit i think. How is the rrm turbo kit anyways is it worth that much money and will i be happy with it? if so then i think im just gonna get the rrm turbo kit thanks.

 

Rrm is worth the money. I'd rather pay them and have a guaronteed working kit than something else. Rrm put alot of time into their kit. And 80 hp is quite a bit. Lots of turbo kits for some cars do not produce 80 hp. Rrm does parts very well and is the only company I would trust when it comes to forced induction on our ralliarts
