When you do paint the car, try to buy one of those clear bras. I bought it right before I had to paint my front bumper so I could install it before putting miles on the new paint. What I did was I bought one for regular lancers on ebay; I just had to trim the lower section to fit it to the front lip and with simple tools installed and have never looked back. The only catch with new paint is that (in my case) I had to wait about a week to make sure it was fully cured (besides I was out of town) to put it on.

finally got my car back.
the right quarter panel looks brand effing new.
as for the rest of the car, she's still a little chipped and scratched.
