RRM Evo 9 Bumper

Does anyone on here have the EVO 9 front bumper from RRM. I am looking to buy one and do not want to order it until I know how easy paint/install is. I have a quote but it varies by about $100 due to the fact that they dont know how many adjustments they are going to have to make in order to throw it on the car. Let me know. Thanks

I could tell you what i had to do with my aftermarket bumper but i have a different brand.

Just call Rob or Brian from RRM. They are easy to get a hold of and will give you all the info you need.

I dont know if the same goes with an RRM bumper but i had to drill out the mounting brackets that are on your oem bumper and rivet them on the aftermarket bumper. Then i had to sand the whole thing down an fix any minor problems with the fiberglass. After that i primed and sprayed it.

Now the RRM bumper may come with the brackets on it. If it doesnt then you have to do what i did with mine.

Now does anyone know if the evo 9 rear bumper will apply on to the end of an 04 lancer?

from when i called RRM last year asking about their kit they actually told me you have to drill your own holes. so if it still holds the same you have to make your own mounting points on the car

it should fit as pretty much all exterior parts are swappable between 04-06 lancers

not exactly... yeah you could theoretically strip down our car and put all the evo panels and stuff on, but as is, i dont think the evo 9 bumper would fit our cars.

i said LANCERS not including EVO

EDIT: i just reread the question. i thought they were talking about an evo 9 rear bumper conversion made for the regular lancers. sorry about that then no i dont think it'll fit cause it wont line up right with our current body panels/tails

Thats what i figured. You would have to drill out the rivets the your oem bumper to get the bracket off then rivet it to the new one.

Evo body parts do not fit our car. The evo is wider. Lancer and Ralliart parts are interchangeable 04-06.
