yes those twist ties they're only the ones that hold the top half of the bumper under the hood to the frame by the grille. everything else is held on by the oem clips that comes on the car.

there's 2 metal screws in the wheel wells that are straight up and down. there are then 2 fasteners below each of the screws in the wells also

there's 2 fasteners underneath the car that hold the bumper to the frame and then there are also the 4 clips under the hood by the grille. unless your car has the ones hooked into the radiator support then that should be it otherwise you'll have to take off your grille and unbolt the ones to the support. the rest is just jiggling the bumper off

i also just noticed that all the "replacement" fogs on ebay and such are not projectors like the stock ones. and partstrain.com only stocks the left side, and for over $100 for just the light.

what will the change in lighting quality be, if any, if i buy the ebay fogs, as raikiri suggested?

not your fault dude. i have been looking at all the different auctions for over a month and just realized it. i emailed mitsubishiparts.net and asked for russellm, asking for a price on housings, lights, etc. anyways.

i was just wondering what the difference would be if i got non-projector fogs. (i will most likely be getting some hyper yellow's all around.)

RusselM gave me the part numbers, if anyone else is interested. (these might fit the other lancer models?)

RH LAMP MN161942
LH LAMP MN161941
LH BEZEL MN150931
RH BEZEL MN150932

(apparently, its a bezel, not a housing)
