Voltage stabilizer

Hey guys sorry if you have already talk about this but I have one question...has any of you used already this "Voltage Stabilizer" system...cause i was reading about it and it seems to help a lot maintain voltage in the electrical system of the car....one that someone recomended me was the HYPER VOLTAGE STABILIZER MR Edition...when i search for it it costs about $160...is it worth it?????

Honestly kinda seems like one of those turbonator claims. Thats just my oppinion on the thing, never heard of it and we already know grounding kits dont serve anything other than looking pretty on our cars. so meh.

I heard of them , it's not so much a power gaining mod but more of an electrical helper as in helps the cars sensors read things more clearly and easily. Same as the grounding kit. When I installed my grounding kit it helped smooth out my idle as well as the music sounded more clear. Not to mention I don't get that static shock when getting out of my car.

I just saw the dyno test of 4 voltage stabilizers in this months Inport Tuner and they said the Sun Auto Hyper Voltage System is the best.
About 4hp and 6 tq gain through-out.
Also makes headlights brighter, reduses noise and such.
I'm gonna get the GT modle and a ground wire kit to.
Will help a little and not hurt.

What car was the 4hp and 6 tq from ? Probably a modded turbo car , and that's at the flywheel.. Don't expect a huge gain .... I think ZO6 vets would be lucky to get 4hp from this.....

i think the car was a 240sx...don't remember if it was stock or not...but yes i read that study they did with those 4 voltage stabilizers...thanks to that article is why my question came out...right now the car is working great...the turbo hasn't affect anything so far...and the voltage from the battery is pretty constant...but still that stabalizer system sounds interesting....

OK, I found the artical on thier website (http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp...ion/index.html) and reread it.

I was off a bit, it increased HP 1.4 and TQ 2.6.
It was a 240, but a KA24DE powered one so...

Anyway after looking it over again, I'm prob. gonna forgo buying one.
Unless I decide It's worth the $200 to smooth out my idle a little after I tune.

But most likely not worth it to most people.

I put on a home made grounding kit on my Evo VIII. before the voltage would drop from 14 to 11.8 with everything on and the idle suffered. After the install it stayed at 13.8 with everything on. This is my finding.
