Hey I feel that my ralliart is running a bit sluggish and I was wondering if any of these tricks would work. I am really curious about taking out a quart of oil from the car. Will the engine burn up?

the best way IMO for free horsepower would be to drop some weight. From what im told, every 10 lbs of weight you lose is the equivelent of gaining 8 horsepower. Maybe thats a little skewed but it doesnt hurt to try. lose the back seat, spare tire, AC. im sure just those three would make a large difference. ive heard of people taking off very unneeded part and still wanting to lose weight so they just drill holes in the car to get rid of some of the heavy metal. thats committment lol.

ive heard in the past its more like 100lbs for .1 sec on the drag strip....dont know about "feeling like extra hp" tho
personally i think its not much of a gain...but hey if u wanna try go ahead...
if it feels like its running a little slower and sluggish it may not be and for w/e reason u think it is..
kinda like when u d a mod and ur like "WOW THAT MAKES IT GO SO MUCH FASTER ETC"...and then u actually measure the results and find out ur car is actually going slower...yeah..
i wouldnt worry about it...
like otter said it may just be heat and humidity...
when its colder out u get more power out of your engine...

Underdrive pully does a little. But really, heat+humid = suckage.
