Just a cover.

If you find anything for the door, please share. I don't know why Mitsubishi hates padding for your elbows. I'm probably going to buy one of those gel wrist pads for mice and stick it to the door

So before I place my order, I just wanted to confirm that the evo VIII option for the armrest will fit perfectly in the 2004 RA?

Yes, it will. If you want the padding, though, you have to PM them beforehand. I don't think they have the option for the padding on the site for the Lancer/Evo cover.

So I got my order for the armrest and boot. I searched but could find any clear instructions to replace the boot in the RA. Does the grey ring pop off or does the entire centre console need to be removed like the evo below?

You can probably do it without removing the entire center console, however, the center console is really easy to remove and it'll probably make access easier.

got my stuff in the mail....only 5 business days! brought my toolbox to work to put the boot on during my lunch...open it up and realize i left my screw driver out!! ARGH!! the armrest cover looks wicked though. the latch doesn't click anymore but it's still closes down ok. I'll have to put the boot on later....but i'd recommend going with redlinegoods.

You sure you put the armrest cover on right? Mine closes exactly the same as it did without it.

yeah i did...i pulled it tight so it's tight across the top. it still closes but i don't hear the click anymore. the top, back and front look perfect. I figured it was just the extra material giving a tiny bit more thickness on the clasp edge.

So I got the boot installed....looks soooooo good.

Otter...I see i did put the armrest on the wrong way. I took the screws out but there seems to be two plastic plugs holding the top on. I assumed I would jsut have to pull up but they seem to be stuck in there pretty good and i don't wanna break it. How did you get those out?

There's no screws under those plugs. You need to remove all 6 screws to seperate the top and bottom half of the armrest. I'm guessing you didn't remove the two screws holding the latch piece. Those have to come out.
