rad fan on all the time!!! need help

i got 04 sportback, the rad fan stays on all the time and remains on when i shut the ignition off for approx 20 sec. It never did that before. just started about a month ago. i checked all the connectors on the module mounted on the fan itself and everything is good. What i did notice is that when i squeeze the module on the fin side it stopped , not sure if it was the pressure on it or if its messed up. has anyone had this problem before. just checking before i spend the money on a new module that i can't return if its not that.

The fan controller itself needs to be replaced ... Do it now and save yourself a new radiator later. Search it up it's been discussed.

That's funny, I bought mine from a dealership for around 80. One of our vendors here, mitsubishiparts.net, has it for 70.69 which would roughly translate to 80 shipped. The part number is 1355A053.
