Yeah man I work at a Lube shop and not gonna see gas millage dropping from forgetting oil change a bit. Same as someone said above Air filter, I noticed the RRM SRI made my gas millage a lot better. Spark plugs ensure good spark, also always good to check coil packs to ensure that there giving proper power. Tire pressure yupyup other than that... I'd say you could set up a fuel return system...

Driving normally helps.
At one point, sticking to the speed limits (ok, so, 7 or 8 km/h over) traveling on the highway i've gotten 560km out of one tank, which was fantastic (thats 345.679012345679 miles lol).

My gas light normally comes on after about 260 miles. which I think is about 26mpg.. Thats not bad considering its 95% city, a lot of rush hour driving and the occasional WOT fun

You guys should try finding an ethanol free station. It will help out with gas mileage. I actually get 360 for a full tank. And I do drive under mivec sometimes but I also WOT it too. Especially on the straight aways and turns

I always get over 300 miles per tank. The only time I didn't was on a 1000-mile road trip on I-80, cruising through the Iowa or Nebraska (all I remember of the scenery was corn. Lots of corn) at about 4500rpm in 5th gear. Not insanely fast, but high enough to be in the upper Mivec range, and stayed that way for the whole tank. Fuel light came on at about 230, and I stopped to fill up at 250. Then I slowed down a bit when I got back on the road, and my next tank was around 320.

I gave some thought to putting in a switch I could turn off for highway cruising, but then I moved and don't drive my car much anymore (only about 2500 miles this year), and now enjoy getting 40+ mpg on my bike.

my gas light usually comes on around 280 miles.... i dont know how you guys get above 300 unless being of course you're tuned for better mileage

maybe being A/T has something to do w/ it?

i get about 300-315 miles to the tank. Today i was driving back to school and wanted to see how far i could get after the gas light came on. 40 miles later, the car started to give in. Luckily there was a gas station not to far.

SPEAKING OF GAS LIGHT...
is it just my car or does every1 else's do this too..?
my gas light turns on while im driving...and then shuts off...2 or 3 times (not like flickers..but like stays on for a minute or 2 then goes off for about another min or 2 again etc)...and then it turns on and stays on...

i know maybe the gas sloshing around in the tank may be it...but it ussually happens on the highway when its like dead straight and barely any bumps too...so theres minimal movement...any thoughts..?

i thought maybe fuel pump/sending unit..?..not that ill replace it...it still works...i always just wondered about it...

i dont think anything is wrong. my car did that on the highway yesterday too. i started counting the miles after the gas light came on for the first time. it turned off and on a couple times but i think its normal. it really gave me a scare when the car was gasping for more gas
