AEM CAI for $85.00?

Found this parts site called DASHZRACING. They list an AEM CAI for $85.00 Someone take a peek and see if this seems "fer real"

That's actually an intake from a company called spyder. I actulaly checked this site out last night coincedentally

Scrath that, it's from a company called check-point. I honestly have no idea of their history or their involvement in the tuner scene. I believe it's one of those companies where ebay sellers buy ****ty catbacks form them re-sell them.

You're more than welcome to give it a shot. But that filter it comes with is a definite no-no

If I'm not mistaken, i think its just for the blue intake pipe only. It says nothing at all about it coming with a filter.

I went on Check points website, it shows the same filter as what shown in dashz's photos. I dunno, for 80 bucks, you could grab it and for however much more you can stop by autozone or advance and get a good filter. If anyone tries this pipe, bring this thread back from the dead since thats probably where it'll go

GO for broke then. My only concern is if they actually did their home when designing their intake for a system w/MAF. This isn't a Honda where you can just throw a pipe on a call it a day.
