throttle body size

do you guys know the size of our stock throttle body??? i've talk to some people here in panama and they are putting mustang 5.0L throttle body to the RA's...they say it works a lot...but i would like to know our stock throttle size...

The stock (mustang 5.0) tb is 65mm but they have them 70mm -90mm, but something that large wouldn't benefit you. The next thing you'll have to tackle is switching it ti a flyby wire tb , not impossible just another thing to do. If you want an upgraded tb that's bolt on, plug and play get 6g75 tb from the eclipse gt. I have it and love it.

When I measured our TB with my vernier it came out to 60mm on the dot.

Stock 86-93 5.0L mustang T/B is 58mm. BBK and several others make the 65-80mm. I would look into something that was more plug and play. Just my .02

I stand somewhat corrected , I've only been able to see the stock 5.0 with a 60-65 mm tb so who knows , this is the Internet lol.

As for your question , are you asking about what year mustangs or what year eclipses, i'm refering to?

06 and up. any 6g75 throttle body will work but the eclipse is the biggest.

i havnt gone into researching a bigger TB, whats the benifit on getting the bigger bore? if you dont mind schooling me up a bit.

they told me 2005-present mustangs...but i haven't research if these mustangs come 5 liter...so i don't know how true that info is...im working on it right now guys and let you know...right now I'm also searching for the eclispe 6g75 TB but man here in PANAMA that's looking for a grain of salt in a big sea....

in my case i'm turbo and i'm running extremely MEGA MEGA RICH...i mean 10.1 is my AFR on the wideband...so i want to to that and also porte the manifold to see if i can forced that AFR to 11...it's going to be a trial and error test guys...will let you know any news about it
