Stereo Out Q?

So when I was ripping apart my dash had to take out the cd player and noticed on the back there are 2 connections, One right under or above the antenna plug in and the other is opposite of the fat black midi style cable. that don't have anything plugged in any info?

Do you mean these two?

When I put my aftermarket head unit in the only in/outputs that were connected were for the wiring harness and the antenna. I'm not positive but I think on a whim they're for the sun and sound package, stock subwoofer jack and disc changer (which mine does not have) ?

I just figured, after owning the car for a year, that I (we?) have heated mirrors. Talk about knowing our cars...

You're kidding... I thought heated mirrors had the little and the heated mirror symbol in the corner of the mirror..?

As for the stereo looking different are you talking about both pics I'd posted or just the diagram one, if it's the bottom one I think that's just a general mitsubishi stereo diagram. I'm positive ours doesn't have the remote control connection (and the diagram is upside down ha compared to the back of my stock radio)

This is the one from the 05 Model
(Left to Right)So far left rectangle connection is used, round one not used, big middle rectangle obviously used, Round midi style is used, than lastly the right end the top one is antennae and the lower one looks very similar to the antenna one but a tad bigger.

So the 13 pin circular one is not used and the one below the antenna isn't used as well? That still seems like the disc changer and a subwoofer jack to me. Does yours have the sun and sound package (stock infinity subwoofer) ?

You have the sun&sound and the 2 round plug wasn't used?!?!

I have a 06 SS and both round plug are used. The one at right of the big rectangle plug is used to plug the stock Amp, and the left one is for the CD changer.

But I'm don't remember if I have a rectangle plug at the left of my HU, so maybe the plug as change from 05 to 06!!!
