I have water in my headlight and I want to redo the sealing on it but I am having a hard time taking it out. I took the top 2 screws out and the side one but I still can't remove it. Can anybody please help me with instructions on how to remove it?

You need to remove the bumper so you can get at the lower screws.

You should get some projectors since you have to fix anyway.

 

I got HID already and they are awesome.

 

So you have hids, but no projectors?

 

one trick ive heard to keep moisture out of the headlights was either to re-seal them, or drill a few small holes on the bottom, that way more air moves thru and moisture will not build up. have fun

Finally got the headlight water free. I've drilled a couple of holes on the bottom as well as one on the side. It took 3 days for the water to completely evaporate but it's all out.

Now should I reseal the holes or just leave them open???

If you re-seal the holes without solving the intitial issue it will happen again. Did you resolve the initial issue? I don't think there would be an issue with leaving them open...

if you seal them, check for videos on youtube on how to seal headlights with silicone.

 

leave the holes open...that way theres drain holes if u ever get any more moisture in there, it wont hurt anything unless you're submerging the car in water up to the holes as you drive...

plus the holes allow for some breathing in the headlight, allow for moisture not to build up and if theres any it shouldnt accumulate...

why seal it back up, if you might eventually have the same issue again and then have to take it out again sometime later and open the hole(s) back up
