engine swap

so as some of you know my engine is crap and to rebuild it it will cost anywhere from 3500-5k which is expensive which is more than what the car is worth so my question is what engine will fit in my r/a? i was looking around and i was thinking maybe an eclipse engine will fit but im not shur or how i can find out (maybe putting the v6 in the r//a will be bad ***) so i need your help guys maybe the 2.4 engine from the eclipse will fit idk

In theory, if you have enough money, you can strap a jet engine into your ralliart.

if you go on club4g.org, there was a member on there who shoved the new eclipse 6 cyl, into the old model eclipse. It was a really interesting motor build, and he got it running perfect. Alot of power in a smaller car. Now i'm very very sad to report, that the person who built and owned the car passed away. How ever, if you look on that website and do a fast search, his thread is one of the biggest on that site. Check it out.

Now i know you said put eclispse motor in a ralliart. but that example just follows through with my first sentance. If you have enough money, and know how. you can put anything into that ralliart motor bay. Good luck bud.

Just keep the ralliart motor in there.. The eclipse 2.4 is the same motor as the ralliart so that's just about like swapping and 04 ralliart motor for an 05 lol. Although the 3.8 liter eclipse motor would be bad ***, it would cost more than the 5k you were saying it would be to rebuild your current 4g69. Just swap in another used 4g69 and reuse and/or rebuild parts of your old motor when needed. Build up the head etc. this just my 2 cents

Yea. When you say 5k to rebuild the motor? is that full race motor? or stock? Cuz you can buy a stock motor for a alot less than 1k. put iti n yourself, or pay somebody about the same to drop it in... Now if your talking about rebuilding. Yea 3-5k is close enough. Not including labor. But she'll be ready to handle serious HP. But the 3.8 liter in that little car would be beast.
