I have a 2005 Ralliart lancer sport back mines came stocked with HID headlights, thus it has the mechanism (solenoid) that allows the HID to show high/low beam. Recently I recognized that the right side light was lighting but not as bright as the left side, further checks revealed that the right side mechanism was not working at all.

I tested and tried all possible ways to get the mechanism working but all efforts failed. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what did you do to resolve it.

N.E the solenoid is working I took it out and operated it on an external power source.

 

Do you know what brand of hids they are? I'd contact the maker , if you don't know just get a new set.

 

Nah man the HID's are working and its the solenoid shield device which is not working i tried puing the left light on the right side and it did not work as well that hinted to me that it was not the light bub possibly something else.
