Why is stuff for our cars so expensive. If i want a catback, I have rrm or universal racing where if i had an evo or a lncer 2.0 I have options for catbacks ranging from 35 bucks on ebay to hundreds of dollars. And it goes for everything...headers...floor mats...lips...whatever. ugh...

I know how you feel. Thats why i dont know if i wanna buy the supercharger when its available or get an evo this summer. I've driven an evo before that ran a 12.4 and i loved it, but i also love my ra. Maybe its because ive had it since new. I just hate the high price for ra parts. Supply and demand though. Look at parts for hondas, its so cheap to mod one. Ok, now you me ranting. Lol.

 

Speaking of reflash, when will the supercharger and software be ready for an 06. This might make me not go evo so soon.

 

yeah what got my rant on was i just browsing ebay for hours at work...it's hard to find stuff specifically for the RA cause you gotta sort through all the evo/lancer stuff. the only headers on ebay for the RA are OBX....on all of ebay!! and they're more expensive than the OBX for the 2.0!

and yeah....honda's are sickeningly cheap to mod. there's a lot around here.

I know universal has a catback....obx has headers...accolade has body kits...RRM has a ton of stuff....if there's a good company i'm missing out on please inform me.

haha accolade probably isnt reccomended anymore.But on another note, i messaged password jdm and recommended parts for the 04 to 06 RA's and they said they'd look into it

 

Rare/uncommon car = low demand for parts = low part production numbers = expensive parts.

If you want cheap parts then get a common car.

 

Ultimate racing has a 2.5" catback.. $480 with no resonator and $560 resonator included..

Amen to this though, thank goodness for this forum and good fortune over kijiji, if I'd have known after market power adders were as much as they were I might have at least scratched my head first before buying the car haha.
