Cabin Air Filter

Just got mine from ebay...seller is freshcabinair....14 bucks for one or they have a double pack for a discount. pretty good. just thought i'd mention it in case anyone was looking for one. if anyone remembers my homemade one, it was actually going strong and was getting pretty dirty when i pulled it out. Cheap, excellent product.

I decided to get a new one just so i would have a proper one though....not a hack job one.

oh ****ty, have u looked at it at all yet? its gonna be very filthy.

I purchased the same TYC filter before from an auto parts store but it was the wrong one. If this is the right one I'll order one.

Seems pretty cheap for in-cabin filters. I do need to replace mine though.

I need to as I don't believe I've ever changed it since I had the car. The fan motor seems not to push as much air out the vents anymore as well

Is the item you received carbon-filled like the original or plain white paper?

It was carbon. I was surprised with the quality for how cheap it is.

Rob...my car never smelled bad so it pretty much smells the same lol. I heard of some guys spraying the filter with febreeze before putting it in.

I just got mine from O'Reilly's (auto parts place) for $10. Direct replacement and since you change it once a year (according to the manual) -- what the heck?
