So long RA

After over 6 awesome years with my TG RA, I've traded it in. After moving out to a place with snow, and lots of it from time to time, I decided I needed a car with a little more ground clearance and AWD. After lots of searching and trying to find something that's fun to drive while still doing what I need, I settled on a 2011 Kia Sportage SX. Tons of fun to drive thanks to the turbo, AWD, and gas mileage comparable to my RA. I miss my RA already, even kept the key I used for all 6 years of driving (had 2 spare keys), but the SX is an amazing little CUV, though the RA's seats were nicer than the leather ones I got.

eh idk.. ive had my ra for 3 years this august.. it runs PERFECT i got into the "i want a new car" thing because 3 days ago i test drove an evo mr 2011 lmao.. so i was like ughhh i need to be faster! but im gonna continue to save threw the summer and then look. Im probly goign to keep my RA when i buy a new car just because id never get the money my car is actually worth. Ive treated my car like a baby and ive never had an engine problem lol. plus gas is like 4 dollars in jersey right now im not going to pay for premium gas for an evo =X

The new car bug hits me from time to time buuuut. . .no car payment and a solid little car at that, I can manage for a little longer and just keep banking cash. I've had my RA since May 2005 going on my 6th year and even though I have a trans issue, the car has been a good car.
Next ride will be probably still be 2 more years out and hopefully another 40K more solid miles on the RA. Current mileage is at 103K.

I finally got a cosigner. I'm either going to refi mine or trade for a new gsr. I'm used to paying 4 a gallon since mine is tuned for it.

^ yea same, usually in the fall when they try to get rid of their 2011 inventory for the 2012s.. 0% interest on financing and the such.

every RA is special to each owner. rarity also helps that there's no other car quite like it in terms of performance/price

I work at the W hotel, I valet cars all day long. I've driven so many cars, but I still my RA to death. I do get that phase where I want a faster car, but now that I've been saving some money, I hope to do some great things to my RA this summer (: Cars i love to drive at work are the new BMW M3s and Subaru STis. (non-hatch version). When I turn 25 (in 2 years) I hope I can save enough for a down payment on a used Evo (either IX or the new X) and make payments for it. Since evos will no longer be made after the X, i HAVE to get an evo in my lifetime, it's my destiny.
