I just saw some on an RS camaro. I wanted to find the owner so I could make fun of him/her. I want you to get them for the sane reason.

yeah, that's almost worse than the tail pipe whistles that simulate the sound of a spooling turbo.

I would choose rusty calipers any day.

any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks
Yes. Please buy them, and then post pictures on here for all of us to see.

(I'm totally joking about buying them, I have no clue if they fit. However, if you somehow acquire them, please be sure to post pictures.)

What I don't get is this (this is directed at anyone in the thread against these things, and I agree that they'd probably look tacky):

If you don't want to paint you calipers, but don't like the dirty looking stock calipers showing through your fancy wheels, what option is there *other* than caliper covers?

And is there anyone that sells caliper covers that aren't trying to look like something they aren't?

to me it does not matter, a caliper will rust, caliper paint doesn't last forever, and even high end calipers will eventually not look as good...why would you ever want to glue plastic covers on your caliper, regardless of whether it's imitating a legitimate product or not.

As i said before, i would rock rusted calipers rather than gluing a cover on them.

If anything just get a cheap hand held sandblaster and knock all the crap off them every once and awhile. It would be about the same cost as the covers and you could use it for other projects.

I think these things just look plain tacky.
