I have an 04 Ralliart and iv just been workin on the exterior makin it look good. but i really wanna start upgrading the performance of it. everything about it is mainly stock. but id like to get my 160HP to 200+ if i can. i know a turbo kit that would put it around 245 but i dont really wanna drop 4300 on it. plus i dont have a hell of a lot of time to put it on so id spend a few hundred more taking it somewhere to be done. so what could i maybe start with?

 

Honestly for the money you'd spend tryin to get 200+whp just go turbo. This coming from someone Wha has all n/a moss short of a cam an throttle body

 

Yeah just didnt wanna drop the 5k for it. considering i paid 4k for the car lol. but is there any turbo kits a little cheaper. stage 1 or 2 that you know of? but i drive it everyday i dont wanna really be at the gas station 24/7 thats why id didnt say a stage 3 haha.

 

only option is either custom with a reflash or rrm. otherwise buy a new car and mod that if you're looking for that kind of power

 

i love the Ralliart, i just wanna get it moving quicker. Accelerations all i need really, so anything for that would be nice. it moves quick but it needs a bit of kick.

 

if you want it to be quick then there's mods that are out there but there are few and can be pricey. search the noob thread or any others that have discussed this topic. its happened quite alot recently

 

Alright thanks. My friend has a Honda Del Sol but he just did a motor swap with one that "Alledgedly" has 230HP and that cars pretty light. but i just dont want it to be quicker than my lancer. so i figure around 200HP could about do it. Cant be topped by a Honda o_o

 

You could buy a used kit. There are a couple of guys that are selling theirs for around $1200. Look in the market.

 

yeah.. not happening... you're looking at a engine with supposedly 70 more hp than you and probably around 1000lbs less than you. even if you somehow got to 200hp i still dont think itd happen

 

This thread has a whole lot of issues with if. If you want a turbo kit just to beat your friend's Del Sol that's lame. Leave the street racing **** out of here.

Secondly you need to please search, what you're asking has been aswered many times over. Our car is rare and you need to appreciate it for that.
