Need a HF cat!

Okay guys Honda rasp is not cool in any way. But now I have a lot of it thanks to the manifold and dp.

I know RRM sells one, but does anyone else know of any other places that you have or I can get one at?

Thanks guys!

A long resonator would help more than a high flow cat wouldn't it? I have a 22" magnaflow resonator and it helped with the raspiness on my set up.

I have the RRM cat back and that already has a resonator I do believe. If I were to get another where would I install it? In the down pipe section?

oooo, how long is the one that comes with the catback? Magnaflow also carries hi-flow cats, just saying because me personally would rather have it all one brand exhaust system, instead of different parts here and there , but thats just me.

the one that rrm sells actually is a magnaflow iirc. i'd think any magnaflow with a 2.25 in/outlet should be weldable to the downpipe

The problem I thought of was the o2 sensor in the dp. I would have to find one that wild fit between the o2 and the cat back and keep the flange from the dp. Ugh troubles....raikiri...lol how much was it to weld that in?

i think $100? the cat shoudln't be too hard to find i dont think. just measure the distance between the flex pipe and the 02 sensor and figure out how much of the dp you'll have to cut out to weld the new cat in

Find a local muffler shop and take it in for an estimate, it should cost you nothing but time. Get his take on where and what you can do to reduce the raspy sound.

Yeah ill try that the only problem is do i go resonator or HF cat? I like the deep kinda loud tone but i dont like the rasp. What will do the most benefit all things considered. Another concern would be where to put a resonator if i were to choose that option. There isnt much room for a big one.

well there's already the big resonator in the midpipe of the exhaust i would say just go with a HF cause then you wont be throwing a cat inefficiency code... well at least i hope not

Yeah ill probably just do a HF cat.. But are there any other options (ebay) that carry a HF cat that will work on the car? Will the HF cat take all or most of the rasp away? I want it all gone!
