Beatdown caught on tape

http://youtu.be/Y0O8qkOCqLE

Lol, found this video on Youtube from september 10th...this was not a great run for me, of course my best is 15.3, but it wouldn't make much of a difference here...The white talon is Paul Sitarski, this thing is a beast, you could almost eat from the engine bay, and i've seen him run an 11.2, but he doesn't launch hard at all...this thing is a 10 second car, no doubt about it. You can't hear it, but i was 2 steppin' as well.

Nice run nonetheless.

Wish our cars had the same number of aftermarket parts available as talons/eclipses.

EDIT: Good call on the title change lol.

i agree. the aftermarket parts for the RA's is seriously lacking in every aspect, and what we can get is pretty pricey...especially for us canadian guys.

Lol, my bad, just trying to draw attention.

As far as the aftermarket, we can get pretty much every thing you would want or need, it's just expensive cause there's no competition...

as for the competition... that is soo very true. i guess there isnt enough money to be made to make a decent aftermarket sector for these cars. it's strange though, because the early years have a decent aftermarket, the 08+ have a decent aftermarket, and the 04-06 went down the ****ter.

True, maybe I should have rephrased it. I wish our stuff was more available and less expensive haha.

I think in some ways it is better to have a unique car that hasn't become the "Honda Civic" of the tuner world. When I see what you guys are doing here it is inspiring.

I always have people asking what kind of car I have and looking at as a unique car. With the lack of support come ingenuity. Kudos to you guys for sticking with a platform and making it a serious contender!

I have never looked at it that way before. I have always been the person who complained about not having parts available for my car but now that you have said that, I'm comfortable with the placement of the ralliart in the tuner world. I certainly do not want people to look at my car as "just another one of those".

I don't really think it would matter if we had a huge aftermarket, afterall the civic was and still is a crazy mass produced vehicle whereas the lancer isn't. Sure they may be a lot of lancers out there, but for every lancer there's probably 100 civics. The new ones are a little more popular but I think the early years is still regarded somewhat as a rarity. it's very funny and quite awesome to see the civic guys taking a good long hard look at my RA when they drive by. It's a compliment in and of itself. More of an aftermarket would only help to draw those stares I think.

Lets face the facts gentlemen; our car is sexy.

I agree nicely placed aftermarket parts definitely add to that sex appeal.

Haha yeah man I agree there. I work with a dude who has a white 2005 ES and I park next to him daily just so I can show the dudes that the Ralliart is far superior
