Rear Window Light

I was wondering if the rear window brake light from a 01-03 lancer will fit our ralliarts? I know the Evo ones will. Is there any installation guide around? I'd much appreciate ones with pictures. I'm kind of a visual learner. Haha. But if there isn't that's fine. Just let me know. Thanks.

It should be the same part for all 02-06 Lancers.

it shouldnt be difficult to wire one in. install the light and it there's no plugs from factory, run it to your brake lights...if you can find an led one that will draw less power that would be ideal i would think....

There's such things as an LED brake light?! Well, I kinda knew that but I don't know where you can find it. So basically all interior parts from the 02-03 will fit our Ralliarts, is that correct?

I think there is a plug for it, hanging inside the trunk.

I get paranoid every time I see a cop. There's a oz rally siting at the junk yard. I'm not sure if it has a 3rd brake light or not.

why would you get paranoid seeing a cop?? as long as you have brake lights you should be fine, unless there's some sort of law in massachusetts that says you have to have a 3rd brake light.....? I know here in Ontario, legally you only need 1 tail light on the back of your vehicle as per section 62(1) of the ontario HTA...

check your local highway and traffic laws to double check. you may be freaking out over nothing...

I did look into it. I asked a cop, and they said I need one. Then I asked another cop and they said I didn't need one. I looked up for the state law, it said, if it was equipped with the car when you bought it, it has to have one, if it doesn't have one, you don't need one. Kinda lost. I took of the spoiler before it was registered and inspected and put on an Evo 8 spoiler. I passed but then, I had another friend with an 03 lancer with an Evo 8 spoiler not pass and got pulled over and ticketed. So yeah... that's why I'm paranoid. lol.
