ok, my dealer called me back today and gave me a 1888 number. I've called it and told a very nice lady about my situation. She said she will handle it. 1hr later, she called me back and told me that the dealer never submit the form to them... however, she got it figure out for me and a $500 cheque will be in my house within the next 3 weeks. hahaha.

thank you all for your help

500 bucks is pretty good I may look into that myself. Dealership doesn't take a cut with the grad rebate, correct?

yea, $500 is sweet!!! humm... sway bar or ipod, kekekee

at first, i was kinda pissed off at mitsubishi. i mean they should at least have a contact number or email for the customer service posted on their web site. If my dealer just act stupid and never give me that 1888 number, i will never get my money back

dugrant153, i think you should make it quick, the deadline for this offer is June 30 (posted on their website) I think they may still have it after the deadline, but better be safe than sorry, right?

here's the link:

bah, I'm sure they'll keep the offer running. Mazda has the grad rebate running (no expiry that I know of) and they're WAY outselling Mitsubishi out here.

besides, no money for a car anyways. The only car I can afford is a Subaru GL 1986 :P

edit: besides, if they want my business, they'll find a way to give me an extra 500 dollars off. Mitsubishi is not doing that well in the North American market.

the rebate is always on at Mitsu..I asked the dealer. they simply post deadlines because every month they update their rates and this rebate (though it never changes).

thats it! =)

that's what I figured

I'm just looking for more rebates.
Cuz... I mean, at 23k (the cost of a Ralliart), you could get a fully loaded Mazda 3 GT sedan with GFX package.

Wait a little later and you will save a bit more than that $500. When the 05' comes out, 04' will be cheaper than what it is now. But of course, you have to wait....

the thing with mazda 3 sedan GT GFX is that they are not available!!! they sold out quick as hell and I was planning on getting one but my dealer was getting like 3 over the next 3 months and they were crappy colors.

a friend of mine bought one when they came out (titanium grey) and its an awesome car for sure, just not as sporty as the RA. I like my car better. The Mazda 3 feels smoother (almost feels like a BMW 3 series... its smooth, engine is quiet, etc) but it lacks the sport feeling of the RA. thats why I got this car. Plus everyone's buying damn Mazda 3s! they are everywhere!!! RA's and mitsu in general are pretty new in Canada and I like having a car not many people have.
