Ok guys I'm making this thread to tell you what I spent my tax returns on but to also see what everyone else got. I've heard tons of peeps over the years say "rrm turbo kit" and I don't see anyone with one, point being talk is cheap. So snap some pics and show off what you got ....




I'll start with what I got .....another 4g69 !!!!!! The only thing better than 69 once is 69 twice , 4G69 baby!!!!! FTW!!!!

Galants are awesome though, mainly because they are so relaxing to drive. Nice buy!

Thinking on buying AMS outlander as my daily driver.

I'm looking for a complete set of oem take offs from just about any newer mitsu. I'll update when I find something nice but i have to get rid of these steelies and hub caps

I like it , the ride is so smooth compared to the ra. I hate the city driving with the stick all of the time. The auto is such a gift lol, but it's nice now having the best of both worlds with the 4g69. I'm making this one very low profile ,quiet , and good on gas.

 

well, mine is boring as to what we will be spending our return on:

- new (used) transmission for the Lancer will be paid off ($1600 installed... ouch). The original one ate its input shaft. It was growling like a hungry bear, threatening to chew up the car.
- new bed for the wife and I.... sleep number bed! Bye Bye POS spring mattress!!
- the rest is going in savings.

Yes, we are boring old people.

But my bonus from work is going for goodies on the autocross Civic (tires, wheels, reworked exhaust).

 

My tax return is going towards my new engine from English Racing...

 

I'm getting coilovers and some other goodies. So in a couple weeks I guess a lot of us will have pics of what we've bought and how the cars look now =D.

 

i'm looking to fix/replace my front lip, and have the carbon fiber hood painted proffesionally to match the car, few little maintenance things here and there, and either a progress or whiteline rear sway bar...then i'll put my stock sway bar on the ES, and possibly even put lowering springs on the ES as well, and i have an OZ rally lip kit for it that needs paint...

 

Mine is being spent on property tax being it is only gonna pay for half of them.

 

chances are mine is going to be put toward camera equipment. if not then maybe toward my new set of coilovers but we'll see
