My names Patrick and I go by abunch of things but mostly Pat or Patrick. Im 19 soon to be 20 and in the military. I am stationed in Virginia and just bought my second ralliart. I owned an A/T 04 ralliart for about 4 months and LOVED it but it was A/T and I took everyones advice to not bother putting 4 or 5 grand into an A/T soooooo a few days ago I bought a 2005 Ralliart M/T
and I LOVE it even more. Its faster then my A/T with the CAI and exhaust I put in it and alot of fun to drive. I bought it for 4k it has 124k miles on it and its in perfect condition.. seriously. I drove it 300 miles in 2 days already an it gets 320 to the tank vs 280 in my A/T. Just to make sure nothings wrong with it Im taking it in to have it checked out top to bottom and doing the 125k maint done along with a check on the past 2 maint. that should of been done.
I still have the A/T and am going to sell it. When it sells Im going to go ahead and drop 2 grand into it. Get a few small things like tires/Wheels, pg, pully, CAI, and an LSD and MAYBE a full cat back exhaust. Having that being said if anyone has any tastefull mods or knows anyone who does please send them my way.
Oh and FAFR means Fast A** F***ing Ralliart haha

Welcome to the forums Patrick!
It is great to here that you kept with a Ralliart rather then moving into something else. Your mod list seems to be a fairly common beginning for nearly all vehicles which is good because it should make it easy to find products and help. But that brings me to this, try and set a goal for your modifications, as in what do you want to accomplish with your RA? Having a goal in mind will make your future decisions much much easier and therefore will eliminate most headaches.
One thing that I would add to that list would be suspension, more specifically, making your RA a little lower. IMHO, our cars look great lowered, especially if you got wheels planned. The most popular choice seems to be Tein's S-Tech lowering springs which drop about -1.1" in the front and -0.2" in the back. I went with Ground Control's Sleeved Coil kit, which allows me to go from -0.5" to -3.0" all around. If loan springs are not what you fancy, there are a few options for complete coilovers such as Megan, K-Sport, and Tein.
*Edit*
Again, the suspension thing is just what I think.

I am going to autocross this car. I want to keep it N/A with more focus on acceleration and handling. LSD and coilovers are a must in my goals already. Im not sure if I want to run this engine till it goes and get a newer engine or just get a new one now but Im leaning towards keeping it. It still has a ton of life left. The reason why I brang that up though is because I am going to remove the engine anyway and get the ported and polished head and intake manifold from RRM. What I was going to do is just put in a LSD, pg, timing box, pully, CAI, within the next month then do coilovers to get ready for a big boost when I pull the engine and take care of everything while its out. I might have left alot of what Im going to do out but I have a plan
and I cant wait to get started. Thank you for the warm welcome!
Welcome to Evom!!!!!
It sounds like your on the right track. The only thing I would do differently (and I did) is find a local machine shop to do the p&p head and ported intake manifold. The shipping, overall cost, and turnaround time will be nearly half if you can get it done locally.
Also if your auto-x-ing the car you should findout what you can and can't modify to stay within a reasonable class of cars. You don't want a mod bumping you up to the unlimited class where youll have a very slim chance of winning.
But this is where all of the info you will need is at so SEARCH it up and post up some pics

Thanks again for the welcome!
if you're good, you can turbo for less than $2,000...lol, but seriously, suspension, sway bar, shifter bushings, solid mounts, and tuning will be far more beneficial than an intake or exhaust, those just make the car louder...if you have money left over after what i suggest, then go for the intake/exhaust and pulley.
So I should just go for suspension before any engine mods? I know that its stupid when people only think engine and just throw only engine mods on but seriously just only go with suspension before doing anything else? that would get rid of having to do it later and It would feel like a much better car but only suspension and handling? no engine mods at all? I guess I could do that and learn the car inside and out before I add any power. sounds like fun

The only reason why I have not done any engine mods is because as of right now, I do not feel the need to do them. I enjoy cruising around, especially now that my car is lowered. The only other things I have done is shifter bushings (highly recommended), RRM short throw (waste of money IMO), and a ACT Stage 1 HDSS (stock clutch needed to be replaced). The only thing that I will be spending money on, for this year at least, would probably be solid mounts. If your looking to get power, your going to have to drop the cash on running boost, if power is not something you really need, then what Cranswick said is perfect.
You also mentioned autocross. The big thing here is traction around turns, which means upgrading your suspension components. Having a lot of power in auto cross does not mean you will always win, many times it is who can turn the tightest, faster. Sure the power helps, but I have seen, on more techy courses, 1.8L Proteges post faster RAW times then a 911 Twin Turbo, all because he could make the turn quicker.

+1 ^ i did suspension and power at the same time not lots of power mods just basic like cai exhaust, pulley to help me shift short throw and buschur racing shifter bushings tein s techs and new kyb shocks. i went to a open track day where their was 2 classes 1 for the fast cars and the other for the slower cars. i went with the slower cars that werent so slow (sti,corvette,370z, and others) they were impressed at how the car handled and how i drove with that being said do suspension mods well worth it and taking the corners fast is all the fun in it!!
Yeah I talked to my friend that is actually does autocross. He drives a 1989 240sx but anyway he really convinced me that its the perfect build for me to learn the car and learn to drive. I bought RRM's Slotted rotors with the high performance brake pads and the underdrive pully kit. Im going to buy coilovers in a few days then buy sway and strut bars when they show up in the market place along with the pg. If an LSD dosnt show up sometime in the next two months Im just going to buy a new one. Thatll be my build
if I find any deals Ill probably change it up a bit.
make sure you get at least a urethane front roll stopper (engine mount) as a minumum...this will help put the power the car makes stock to the road...and i did mention tuning, so i'm not just saying to suspension only, but it does wonders for looks and handling
Im really excited to do suspension only it sounds like a unique and fun start build and I was thinking about motor mounts too but I was just going to install them when I pull the engine to port and polish.. is that to long to wait?
if i could go back in time, i would do the solid front motor mount (roll stopper) first before anything else...
my favorite mod is the urethane mount (cheap), my second favorite is the LSD (very expensive)
