i have an 06 RA and with an evo wing on it at the moment... im thinking about going wingless?

Anyone seen/heard of where to get a trunk lip spoiler/duckbill?

any help is appreciated!!

 

Search is your friend...(I had to be the first of many to say it). Itsbeen asked man times before, but to answer your question, there aren't any yet unless you can get one shipped from overseas. The Evo ones won't work for the ra's unfortunately. This is one member though that is apparently going to do some experimenting with a lip spoiler, but I've been waiting a long time for an update on the progress. Lol. HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE TO THE MEMBER LMAO

Lmao roblaza I'm working on it, I have to wait until middle of April to order it because I'm going on vacation for three weeks and it takes them 2 weeks to make it. So cross your fingers and lets hope when I receive it, it fits, of not then I hope just a little modification will get it to fit. You'll be the first to receive a PM on it before I post anything about it lol.

Also! I have a contact in Hong Kong, he is the one that got me my rims from Japan, I have him checking into any lip spoilers that he might come across for our cars. Hopefully it won't cost to much to buy and ship them.

might just have to upgrade to one of them... lol

but still thats merely a temporary dissapointment... is the difference between the evo and RA trunk so different that minor modifications can be done to mount and evo duckbill/trunk lip?

 

The evo 8/9 trunk is a big difference. It would be way to much modification. I'm going to be Te first to try the evo x duckbill spoiler because the newer gen evo's/lancers trunks have the same shap as our trunk. I'll be able to see f it fits around the end of April or the first week of May.

 

I hope it works out but I've seen the newer trunks they are more rounded than ours but maybe it will fit.

i think its funny in that ebay thing it says its a spoiler for the lancer...yet it has pictures of a bmw, scion and a toyota...lol

yeah i know it probably fits those too...but still...i think its funny

suprised someone aint stuck a peice of that garage door trim on the trunk like what has been used as a "lip" lol.

 

^or nascar style and just rivet some angle iron to the trunk...lol
