Thanks! I still need to do another coat of paint, but I have to drive the car...I have some new fenders coming and I will have to dismantle the car again and paint in about 5 weeks, I'll know this car intimately by then...labour of love...
Thank you, the exhaust is MagnaFlow.

Obviously this is Plasti-Dip? Why did you clear, then shoot? If anything use an adhesive promoter or sand if your using real paint. I've been thinking of doing denim black for quite a while, been teaching myself how to paint. Next is my Civic, then will be the Evo

I used matte clear on the handles after they had been sanded, primed, and 3 coats of paint. I painted (no clear) the door handle areas prior to the final coat, just to add more paint to the area. I figured these areas will see more abuse. This is my first attempt at painting, the results aren't what I expected, tricky getting a cheap HVLP gun and small compressor to do what I want, but I'm perfectionist.
This entire job cost less than $1500 including; all the tools (probably $500 in tools), parts (3 fenders, inner fender apron, radiator support, etc), paint, shop supplies, etc.
This is my test car, I have another car that will be going to a professional after this experience. Next is wide-body treatment, I'm going to try working with fibreglass and carbon fibre. I am going to use a 3D scanner, SolidWorks, and a Precix machine to create a mould (below is a video of the Precix building the speaker rings for my Civic, very menial task for this machine) . Then vacuum forming.

I work for Harley-Davidson so yes when I referred to denim, that's the paint I mean. My entire interor is H-D denim becides my A pillars and headliner...

Unfortunately the cheap paint isn't going to want to hold for too long on a clear coat base, even tho a matte will give you a coarse texture to hold to. I may be wrong, I have no experience with that paint. Best of luck long term, it looks great! Hopefully after I shoot my Civic denim white, I'll be ready to move to my pride and joy like you
paint is turning into my passion.

Thanks, I like the look of your interior, I think I am going to go with a 2-tone interior, black lower, as it is now, and red upper... A, B, and C pillars...

It does look good, that's a hatch I'd drive for sure. The hood looks like it needs another good coat right to left as you can see your spray path. Remember always do a 75% overlap and you won't get that. I give you huge props for jumping to painting your car, that takes big nads.
